New safety measures in place

So we've finally had word that we can start to open up the studio but with some added safety measures in place so I thought id put a little post together to assure you that I'm doing everything I can.

So first off prior to your session you will be sent a covid disclaimer. This is basically a document I ask you to sign to confirm that neither you nor anyone of your family members have symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with symptoms, etc etc.

When you arrive at the studio I'll kindly ask that everyone removes their shoes and jackets and leave shoes in the basket provided and all belongings close to the door. You will then need to sanitise or wash your hands.

I ask that adults wear a mask and if you dont have one I have some individually sealed disposable ones which you can help yourself to. At the minute sessions are limited to close family members only, so grandparents and aunties etc will have to sit this one out for the time being.

To minimise the exposure to children and reduce the number of people in the studio, It would be preferred if, during newborn sessions, siblings can be brought to the session and then collected once their part is over.

When you come for a newborn session, I will take the baby from the car seat so that there is no close contact from adult to adult to hand baby over. I will then remove the baby's clothing and place in a bag for you to take home with you. It is advised that you bring a different change of clothes to take the baby home in.

Please also be advised that I'll no longer be permitted to provide snacks and drinks but please feel free to bring your own.

I will provide you with a bag and would request that all items be placed in the bag and taken away from the studio with you. (items such as facemasks, water bottles and unfortunately this will also include soiled nappies.)

Handwashing and sanitising will be regularly undertaken throughout the session. I will be In full p.p.e for the whole session and ask that you adhere to the 2m distancing required in the studio.

After the session, the studio will be fully cleaned and sanitised and all fabrics, props and outfits washed at 60degrees. Anything that cannot be washed will be steam cleaned and/or quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours.

There will be a strict number of sessions allowed per week, in order to ensure that there is ample time to deep clean and fully air the studio. There will also only be one family per day in the studio.
